Small Business Networking Events
Our membership community
In my experience, journeys are better with others along for the ride – so why should business be any different?
Parenting Business Connections is more than just a networking group. It’s a community; with peer support, encouragement and shared knowledge, skills and experience.
For £24 per month our membership includes:
- Weekly Wednesday networking (Weds, 9.30-10.30am)
- Weekly co-working sessions (Weds, 10.30am - midday)
- Weekly business brainstorming/mastermind sessions (Tues 9:30-10:30am)
- A members’ only community group
- Opportunity to do a #GroupExpert post every Monday
- Opportunity to be our 10-minute speaker at networking
These opportunities have helped our members to make stronger connections and get more sales.
What does co-working involve?
Our weekly co-working sessions on Zoom involve 90 minutes of quiet working time, with a check in part way through, for extra accountability, encouragement or peer support.
What makes our membership different?
From coaches to copywriters and psychologists to social media experts, everyone in the group understands the positives and the challenges of working with parents and most of us in here are parents ourselves.
If we’re not your ideal clients, then chances are, we’ll know lots of people who are.
One of our members once said,
“The Facebook group is great, but the networking is the icing on the cake!”
“It’s a regular part of my week, I love the ethos, that it’s not just about plastering your 60 second pitch, you show up and get to know the community; amazing small business owners; like you.
Everyone is super friendly and it’s more like a support group than what I’ve seen in other networking events. It’s about building genuine connections.
Perfect for those new to networking or just wanting to be a part of a wonderful online community of like-minded business owners.”

Who is our networking for?
Our networking is ideal for small business owners, at any stage, whose ideal clients are parents. You do not have to be a parent to join; many of our members are parents or caregivers themselves, but not all. What matters is that your business supports and serves parents or families, including parents who run a business.
“This group is brilliant for collaboration, sharing ideas, and using other members as a sounding board for projects, challenges, and business tasks. Although the group is online and remote, I’ve genuinely got to know many of the members personally, and it feels like a network of like-minded business people I actually need around me — not just another networking group.
One of the biggest strengths is the openness within the brainstorming sessions. We’re encouraged to talk honestly about the challenges we face in business, and I’ve found the support, feedback, and ideas from others incredibly valuable.
I use PBC as a place to grow my business, build relationships, and stay accountable. That said, I’ve also made sales through the group too, which is a fantastic bonus.”

“Sarah has created a really special space where everyone is truly welcome.
I finally feel like I’ve found my people in business. I’ve not only connected with fellow business owners that ‘get’ me, but I’ve also gained clients and opportunities to collaborate.”

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a parent to attend the sessions?
Not at all! Many of our members are parents or caregivers, but not all. What matters is that your business supports and serves parents or families, including parents who run a business.
I have small children at home, is it OK if they're here in the background?
Of course. Most of our members are parents, with children of varying ages, who may occasionally make an appearance at our meetings.
We understand how difficult it is to juggle running a business around caring for your children and we want to make it as easy as possible for you.
Will I be expected to prepare a timed pitch?
Definitely not. We find that conversational networking is the best way to make connections, form collaborations and get new clients.
When are your networking sessions?
Our networking sessions take place at 9:30am -10:30am (UK time) on Wednesdays.
Co-working sessions are straight after the Wednesday networking sessions from 10:30 on Wednesday to 12:00pm.
Business Brainstorming sessions take place at 9:30-10:30am on Tuesdays.
What if I can't make every networking session?
That’s fine. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you wish
